Melamine panels (MFC)

Melamine-faced chipboard combines a stable chipboard core with a decorative melamine surface fused to both faces. Ready-finished and hard-wearing, it is the material of choice for kitchens, wardrobes, shelving and commercial furniture.

Wood particleboard, P2 for interior furniture (EN 312); moisture-resistant P3 on request

Surface

Decorative paper impregnated with melamine resin, pressed onto both faces

Thicknesses

Commonly 8 to 38 mm; 18 mm is the usual carcass thickness

Sheet formats

Commonly 2800 × 2070 mm

Edges

Finished with matching ABS edge banding
